Wine suit
Plush wool skirt suit. Jacket is Burda 8916, with collar modified, and bound buttonholes. Skirt is Vintage Vogue 2198. Both pieces lined in rayon bemberg.
Camel skirt suit
Wool skirt suit, Vogue 7211, semi-fitted jacket with fold-back facings and raised neckline in back, bound buttonhole. Simple straight skirt with back vent. Both lined in rayon bemberg.
Blue stripe skirt suit
Tropical wool with menswear-like stripe, fitted jacket is Burda 8916 that I modified to a notch collar and bound buttonholes. Sraight skirt that I added a front pleat to. Both lined in rayon bemberg.

Vintage suit circa 1944
Vintage Vogue 2198 Original 1944 Design. Fitted, lined top made from wool crepe, has fold-back facings, notched flanges, back yoke, bound buttonholes, and long sleeves with elbow darts. Gored A-line skirt.
Vogue 2579
Black silk linen suit. Fitted jacket with collar, two-piece sleeves with vent. Love this fabric - looks like linen, but does not wrinkle.

Vintage Vogue circa 1949. Fitted jacket with seaming detail, side front pockets, bound buttonholes, constructed with vintage combined with modern methods. Straight skirt, below mid-calf. Both pieces made from wool crepe, fully lined.
